Artwork Guidelines
General Artwork Specifications
Please understand that as a trade supplier we expect that all artwork has been checked to these standards by our trade partners before uploading to Hublink. This allows us to print and deliver your orders as quickly as possible.
If you know that your artwork does not meet these specifications, then you can request we correct your file using our artFIX service for a small fee.
CMYKhub accepts only PDF finished art with the following specifications:
Photos and illustration resolution should be 300dpi.
All colours converted to CMYK.
no PMS colours, RGB, LAB etc.
Fonts should be embedded or outlined.
Crop & bleed marks included.
3mm for offset and digital jobs
5mm for saddle-stitched booklets
5mm for wide format jobs
Trims size of your document matches the order specifications.
Spot UV, Scodix, Metal or other embellishments are supplied as a separate page in the PDF and indicated as a spot colour.
Any dielines, fold or perforation lines are overlaid onto the artwork as a spot colour and set to overprint.
Page count matches the order specifications and is combined into 1 PDF file per kind of artwork.
eg. 2 kinds of business card printed 2 sides = 2 PDF files with 2 pages each.
eg. 32pp saddle staple booklet = 1 PDF file with 32 pages.
